Supports Infor Syteline ERP for a manufacturer of cardboard edge protection. Developed an interface to upload orders and invoices to Salesforce for sales reporting and dashboards. Evaluated a third-party logistics tool for LTL and TL shipment management. Led conversion of a custom CRM database to Salesforce Accounts and Contacts for organizational standardization. Upgraded Syteline ERP from v9 to v10 in partnership with business stakeholders and the implementation vendor.

Supported Aptean Ross ERP for dairy manufacturing. Implemented Aptean's third-party EDI for document translation and delivery interfaced with the ERP. Developed Ross Data Collection for inventory management using barcoding and transaction scanning. Configured NiceLabel Automation to translate XML files from the ERP into 2x4 and 4x6 barcode labels and 8½×11 placards.

Drove process improvement for aftermarket systems — claims processing, technical product call tracking, and spare-parts pricing — reporting directly to the General VP of Aftermarket. Led a $1.2M global claims processing implementation on Salesforce, and architected the interface from Salesforce to Oracle, PRMS, and QAD for claim payment processing. Managed and negotiated consulting services for projects and ongoing support.

Led a team of developers designing and building a new web-based shop-floor system for truck assembly that improved efficiency and reduced quality defects. Supported existing quality-inspection software running on hand-held tablets for customer product inspection. Worked as part of the team upgrading JD Edwards ERP from a 20-year-old beta version to the latest 9.2 release.

Owned all IT operations for the Menasha and Tulsa plants. Direct support of Data3 ERP and all business applications, coordinating with the Savannah, GA technical services group for PC, infrastructure, and server support. Covered every aspect of IT — project management, security, administration, disaster recovery, and help desk. Implemented system enhancements, additional automation, barcoding, and scanning; streamlined processes to cut costs and improve data integrity. Supervised consultants on project work.

Supported Data3 ERP across 19 North American plants ($1.5B annual revenue). Supported and enhanced EDI inbound/outbound documents, and developed an interface with the warehouse management system. Specialized in hand-held scanners and barcoding. Built a touch-screen shop-floor system in Windows with barcoding/scanning interfacing SQL Server and AS/400. Developed Net Sales and Finished Goods tracking for better inventory management.

Maintained existing applications on AS/400 BPCS ERP. Completed the first phase of a freight payment automation project initiated after the company was over-billed $1.8M in freight fees by a third-party carrier the prior year. Partnered with the logistics team on Purchase Order, Outbound Load Maintenance, and DRP systems.

Ongoing support and troubleshooting of BPCS ERP. Managed development of a standalone Paper Production Reporting system in Visual Basic and Microsoft Access on a WAN. Worked on a BPCS-to-SAP interface for system cutover. Maintained the client's EDI environment (Sterling Commerce / GenTran), covering Invoice, PO, ASN, and Bill of Lading inbound/outbound documents. Helped land a successful Order Entry implementation that had been a year behind schedule and over budget.

Member of the team upgrading an AS/400 BPCS ERP. Responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of manufacturing systems. Designed and built a shop-floor processing system to account for finished goods scanned into inventory. Worked across MRP, Order Entry, and Inventory modules.

Internship completed alongside the final semester of the CIS — Programmer/Analyst program. Worked in an AS/400 shop with a custom ERP for beef processing. Led a project to consolidate libraries for better management of product objects. Updated the workplace-accident reporting program and made changes to business reports.
